Lack of Confidence Kills More Dreams than Lack of Calibre

We all have fears… And these fears are Gigantic –

Fear of failure

Fear of being laughed at

Fear of, we don’t even know what

Have we ever thought deeply or taken a helicopter view of these fears.

Lack of education, opportunity or desire; these are not what holds you back from achieving success, reaching your potential or creating significant impact in your work. The number one thing that holds you back is your silent struggle with confidence, self-worth and faith in yourself.

An exceedingly learned Saint said to me, “Fears are illusionary and temporary.” And I have since then internalised the statement.

Isn’t it laughable that when Fears are illusionary and imaginary… Why don’t we imagine SUCCESS…

Many high achieving men and women have ticked off many of their personal career goals but when we look at the barriers to stepping into their next big thing, primarily it was their confidence and belief in themselves that stood in the way. Even though they had all achieved what we would generally class as success, they all talked about their struggle with their inner critic. Their career progress was being limited more by their “inner glass ceiling” than anything external holding them back.

From my own experience, I have battled fear on a regular basis. For example, it showed up when I put up my first blog post, when I stepped onto the stage for the first time as a speaker at a conference and when I invested in my own learning and restarted educating after an extremely long break.

Overcoming fear is like learning any new thing in life … it takes practice. With each action, you are building your fearless muscle and rewiring your brain towards fearlessness. Every time you take even a small action that feels uncomfortable it is a step towards fearlessness.

We need to learn, understand and practice living the LAW OF ATTRACTION

The Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialises them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually. If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to achieve them with your actions.

Believe deeply and you will begin to experience the magic – everything we need, we desire STRONGLY …actually does come alive.

Look back into your own life and analyse…is it not a fact ?

When I look back at my life, I realise that whatever I have desired strongly has truly come alive till date..

From the school I wanted admission in ; to the man I wanted to marry against all odds ; to my career success till date… God has been very kind.

And we still fear to dream, we need to have faith in this very strong “ LAW OF ATTRACTION”

We can break it down both Scientifically and Spiritually to satisfy our logical nerves –

Scientifically – When we want something strongly , we take calculated well thought of actions in that direction. And when we desire it so strongly, we don’t give up and continue taking actions in that direction which ultimately makes us get our goal.

Spiritually, we keep our faith in the all mighty and perform our actions with the best of ability. And the All might showers us with his blessings.

And under any circumstances if we have worked with right intentions and in complete faith even if the results are not in the absolute form as we desired, it would be only better as it would then be as per God’s choice for us.

We don’t fail , because we don’t have the calibre… More often than less , we don’t achieve our dreams because we never take any actions towards the accomplishment of our dreams.

The desire to achieve our dreams was not compelling enough to push us out to take actions. Day dreamers don’t get anywhere… Action takers certainly Do…

Trust the law of Attraction and Rise to perform your duties towards the fulfilment of your own dreams.

Once we have come to understand the astounding possibilities that life has to offer us, we can also come to realise that we are like artists. We are creating pictures of our intended life and then making choices and taking actions that will realise what we envisaged. It is really that simple. No matter what you are looking to have or achieve or be in life, if you can hold onto an idea and see it for yourself in the mind’s eye, you can make it yours to have… with some effort on your part.

Bhagavad Gita 2.47

You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities and never be attached to not doing your duty.
