To be a Butterfly with Wings, you have to come out of your cocoon

Summer, Winter, Spring …each weather brings its own alibis to keep us cocooned in our own comforts. And that unchanged and stern habit of putting everything to tomorrow.

Tomorrow I will start Dieting…

Tomorrow I will take the first step towards building my career…

Tomorrow I will start learning the new course, I have so much wanted to learn for such a long time…

But this tomorrow never seems to come…

Like Ravana who had the Gift to caste his own staircase to the Heaven, always put it to building it tomorrow, but that tomorrow never came and during his last moments gravely regretted it…

We are all so dominantly pressed by our comfort zones that TOMORROW Never Comes

There has to be a compelling reason to actually live that TOMORROW NOW…And begin taking actions NOW.

We have to practice to live in the action mode and not the result mode. The important word to grasp here is PRACTICE.

Living in action mode means:

  • Setting your direction to your goal and breaking your goal into everyday tasks
  • Then accomplishing and celebrating this accomplishment
  • Building together these everyday accomplishments, re-aligning them regularly with your Goal and finally reaching your Targeted Goal.
  • We are usually so engrossed in focusing on the result that we are either never able to establish the action plan or our desire more often than not shifts because we have  not really wanted it so hard yet…

Living an action oriented life really requires us to step out of our Cocoon.

Our brain is trained to hide behind excuses ever since we have been a child and we have got conditioned that way.

To come out of our cocoon, our brain has to un-learn and re-learn…

We have to step up and start taking actions now…

It’s a resilient process to come out of your cocoon and become that Butterfly… That Butterfly – ‘YOU’ who has now gained her wings to mark her horizon !!!

‘Therefore without being attached to the fruits of activities, one should act as a matter of duty, for by working without attachment one attains the true purpose of life.’ – Bhagavad Gita 3.19

‘Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow. And whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.’ – Bhagavad Gita 3.21
